Special Boss Powers?
Maybe I'm completely retarded, but what are the special boss powers in Elona? Are there any? It wasn't completely obvious to me, so I'm wondering if anyone else thinks they know/knows what they are. And yes, I didn't just play for 2 mintues and ask, I beat the game, so I'm sorry if it's really obvious and I missed it.
EDIT: Yay! Nobody else really knows either! Time to wait for somebody to figure it out...

They seem to have neither half-hex duration nor double-damage.

I think it's the same as the other boss powers: half hex/condition duration, half cast time, and some regen.

Are you talking about skills? Like spectral agony? Because there are 3 bosses off the top of my head that have special skills. The hunger, Varesh and Shiro.
I know there is still the same bonuses, like hexes last half as long, 3 regen, half cast time and skill recharge. Plus alot higher AL.

Some bosses have half-hex duration. Being a curses necro, I can testify after wondering what happened to my Soul Barbs several times.

I'll believe the double damage and half-skill activation time. They certainly dont seem to have reduced(half) hex duration, from what I observed.

from what i was able to observe with my mesmer they have half hex duration and half skill activation time.
I can't confirm the doubledmg. I didn't see such dreadfull dmgnumbers from ele bosses as i could in factions. They do slightly more dmg then normal mobs..but that might aswell be because they are higher level then the mobs around them.

I am 95% sure they are identical to Factions bosses. I am certain they have double damage (you can confirm this easily against any elementalist boss, or the Roaring Ether esurge boss). They do not have reduced condition/hex duration, which I confirmed with Broadhead Arrow. At 12 marks, BA applies dazed for 17s, and recharges in 15s. You can keep a boss dazed indefinitely with BA, which would be impossible if they had half condition duration. I have not explicitly tested hex duration, but I think it's safe to assume that if they don't have condition reduction, they don't have hex reduction either. They also don't seem to have 'boss regen' ala Prophecies (although some normal enemies, like wurms, seem to). Their skill activation feels double-speed, simply because when dazed, elementalists bosses don't feel like they cast at a slower-than-normal rate, indicating that their original spellcasting rate was faster than normal to begin with.
I monk, so I'm not 100% sure about the boss regen or the skill activation, but I am absolutely certain about the double damage and the condition duration.

100% identical to factions bosses, the hexes/conditions get removed but I've had them last longer than half the stated duration on a lone warrior boss before he accidentally died

I fought Acolyte of Grenth and he did 300 damage to me with Chilling Victory. At the same time when I fought both Commander Varesh and Abbadon, Soul Barbs and Wastel's Worry had only half their duration.
It's a mix.

I'm been smashed in the face with a 200 damage meteor, but double damage doesn't seem to come up all that much. I'd definitely buy the idea that they've mixed it up a bit.

I can say for sure that some bosses have half hex duration (like Shiro, strangely), having played through the whole game now.... I'm of the opinion they are mixed with some double damage, and some halved hexes.

As it was in Factions, the bosses at the beginning of the game was Tyrian style with half hex/condition duration. Perhaps it is the same with Nightfall.
